So thankful the Girls & I made it to a few services at WHC's camp this year.
More than the past several years....
Only by Gods amazing Grace!

Thankful for the time spent with a close friend, seeing old ones, and making new ones.

Thank You Jesus for Your loving ,saving ,sanctifying , keeping power!!

Excited for the WBSNF to start back up next month and the new exciting way The Lord led for this one is extra special.

Turned an old ugly coffee mug into a pretty red one i painted by hand & stamped it& than brushed by hand over the image to bring it out.
Sprayed with Mod Podge...

Stamped her a nice Birthday Card with envelop.... I know she will love it!

Another First for Shania

With Dear Hubby having a broken arm, and oil needs changed along with a few other things.... Having a Daughter that can do it comes in handy =)

But this is the first time she did it totally alone... Dad just watched.
Then what could of been a very scary thing, the gear popped out of park&started rolling backwards!!!
front driver door was open&it got jammed...
So that took them both to fix it, but The Good Lord helped

Thankfully no one was hurt
(besides hubby using a broken arm to help get the door back in place)

They hadn't gotten under the car yet, but for it to just do that was kind of scary that it could happen again...
But it didn't !!!!

I love how the Girls go from fluffy girlie stuff in heels one day & under the hood the next day!!

They have a good Daddy to make sure they know how to handle their bidness if the need arises =)

We are studying different world religions.

One of the documentaries I came across. Very interesting from this perspective of whom speaks from both sides in this film.

DIY- In the Kitchen =)

Yesterday we worked on rotating our fruit in our deep freezer & came upon a few bags that needed to be used.....

Apples&Plums.

First set of pic's are of the plums we used. boiled them for just a few minuets to wrinkle the skin to make it easy to peel off...
Returned back to the pan after draining&peeling the plums, added sugar, bit of cinnamon, and 1/2 cup of the juice that the apples had boiled in for 30mins.
It turned out Very good!!!

Kelsey doesn't like plums, but loved the preserves.

Next,
Used the frozen Apple slices & added two fresh apples to the mix to make Apple Butter!!
We looooveeee Apple Butter!!
It came out really nice & just the way we like it =)

It was fun working in the kitchen together and teaching the girls math & Science at the same time =)

Shania made a new recipe for dinner.

A southwestern corn tortillas, black beans, diced tomatoes, thinly sliced chicken, and cheese casserole.
Of course the seasonings were added..

Chile powder, onions, garlic, jalapeño , and .... I think that was it..
It was really good!

Seventeen Years!!

We enjoyed going through our wedding photo's&the Girls got out our "Memorabilia" totes.. Letters & cards from our dating years, pictures, notes...
Was wonderful to look through all of that..

It hasn't always been easy, I wish I could say we have always kept Christ as head of our home, but we can't.
What I can say is by the Grace & Mercy of God, He is head of our home now, center of our marriage , and leading us along!

If I had it to all over again, at the same age, same time, same MAN- I would a million times over!!

Steve made and us continuing to make me a better woman.
I can not imagine life without him by my side!!
He is my love, my heart, my soul, every dream come true.

It was deeper than love at first sight.
We are soul mates, that God created Himself for each other and one for The Lord !!

DIY- on the Cheap!!

Bought these dehydrated New Mexico Chili's & put them through the grinder&sealed them. Have our own chili powder when we need it. Also made flakes&plan to put with other seasonings to use.. still fresh!

Wow 2013 is here already!!!
Time goes by so quickly these days... I don't want to miss a thing, a moment, of what God has for me.

We had a lovely evening of great food & family time =)

I want to start setting up our get-together a with our friends SOON!
As soon as we can get adjusted to the new schedule for Steve&this semester of school for the Girls....

Time to break out the grill & get out the games for a great time of fellowship!

Lots of exciting goodies coming up&cant wait to get into them all!!

Time for Women's Bible Study to start back up, will be posting that information very soon.

WHC Sun Valley Camp will be starting in a few weeks & I'm so excited one of my dear best girlfriends will be the cook!!!

Steve goes back to the Ortho Surgeon for a follow up in a few weeks... Praying his broken arm is healing proper... Praying this pain will soon go away..

I think we are going to start putting the Christmas Decorations away & will be time for a First of the Year Deep Cleaning!!

Hoping to get some new painting done!!!!!
