Far from perfect, many battle scars are showing... but if the light of Jesus shines through them, we have lived our purpose. Our desire is to point each one that crosses our path to Him, The One for whom we live our life.

Weekend past.. Another week ahead.
I so miss going to church on Sunday.. makes for such a LONG LONG LONG week... Praying Kelsey will improve over the next week to at least make it to Sunday morning service.. She is still in a considerable amount of pain, but thanking GOD for how HE has helped and touched her... Friday was a REALLY rough day for her and Saturday was not easy by any stretch... Sunday, she was some better... Our schedules are still all messed up, but I have been able to get some sleep... and that has helped... Thankful The Good Lord helped Steve through his work week and praying he can get some much needed rest the next few days.
School is .................... not going as strong right now, but still managing to get some in, that in itself is a BLESSING directly from GOD, because we have all been so exhausted.
My Mother and Grandmother came to see Kelsey and us Saturday evening, brought a beautiful plant and other gifts, more books for the girls to read... These girls LOVE to read, and I am so glad because I love to read( don't get to as much as I would like to) and my mother loves to read, grandma loves to read... so really helps out with the school part...
We attended church via online @ LBC and Sunday evening's message was very good, and The Holy Spirit definitely spoke to me personally on some issues that need HIS attention. So thankful to be still a lump of clay in THE Almighty potter's hands!!!
Happy Monday everyone!!!

Saturday
So yesterday ( Friday) was a rough day all the way around... It's one of Steve's hard day's, we all are running on lil if no sleep, and Shania& I changed Kelsey's bandages.. Her knee MUST WITH NO EXCEPTION be kept straight at all times this first 2 weeks. it has been locked in place since she came out of surgery.. SO, I knew it was going to be painful for her just to unlock it and have pressure change, than trying to be extra delicate with this being the first dressing change, on top of keeping it straight while being unwrapped&re-wrapped... Thank The Lord He helped me(when it's your own, it is different) and Shania bless her heart was right there with me being the extra set of hands that was needed. So I waited for pain meds to kick in before beginning, we got through it, everything back on(including polar pack) and the pain started out slow and before I knew it, she was in so much pain( up to this point she had held back the tears, trying to be brave) This was an all out pain stricken cry... nothing as a mom makes you feel more helpless than to see those tears and not a thing you can do.... Well at that moment was on the phone talking to my Grandma and Mother, we stopped everything and on speaker phone went to prayer... Oh how GOD came, The Holy Spirit dropped down and in a literal blink of an eye, Kelsey's pain was GONE( and no had not given any more meds) It was GOD!! The Holy Spirit was so strong, we just changed from making dinner to the 4 of us having church, right here in our lil living room.. We sang praises to Jesus, and I looked over and Kelsey was dozing off to sleep... GOD IS SO GOOD!!
devil gets mad when God works, and wow did he ever take a sucker punch at me last night. I got so sick from exhaustion, had no choice but to go get in the bed... I never go to bed before Steve gets home, and specially on his B-Day... I had no control... so Shania and Kaity kept an eye on Kelsey for me and I was so out don't even know when Steve got home... He is amazing.... He gave Kelsey her meds, refilled the polar unit, got her all settled and spent some time with the girls... Do you know how guilty I felt? but how Thankful and Humble at the same time? To serve such a BIG loving GOD, married to such a Big loving man, and have three of the most beautiful loving girls.... helps in the " I don't think I will make it through this" moments.
Bro.Hunt from Gospel Center called to check on us and encourage us, that was a blessing.. and different family and friends have assured us they are praying.. It DOES matter, we DO feel it, we DO need it, WE are also praying for ALL of you as well... Toooo many to list, so just know we THANK YOU and appreciate you all!! There are many details no one knows about, BUT GOD knows, and we would not be making it without HIM!!! Oh how I LOVE HIM so... So today is Saturday, that means Bountiful Basket Day!! I did not think I would have the strength to go get them, Shania came in to tell me she was going to help me... So thankful for her servants heart. Kaity said she would take care of Kelsey while we were gone ( Steve will be getting ready for work) Team work is what it's all about!!
We Are truly so Blessed!!Trust Everyone has a great day!!
Be Blessed, Angela

Random Ramblings....
So we are going into our 3rd day post surgery for Kelsey and she is doing as well as can be expected. ONE HUGE answer to prayer- the total knee joint replacement did not get done because GOD had HEALED it since the MRI 2 months before surgery... GOD IS SO GOOD!!!
She is in pain, but never complains.. Steve took Thursday off to be here at least one more day to help with lifting her around.. Poor thing can only drag that right leg at this point.. The girls have jumped right in and without anything said we all assumed our positions and take round the clock turns with her.... We work so good as a team, so thankful for this lil family God has Blessed us with.
Pray for Steve today and tomorrow as he is very tired and will be pulling a hard 24 hour shift..
WOW have wanted to write on here for some time, but have just held it in... So much has happened , that by others standards should of already done us in.. BUT GOD, has been here and worked everything out one step, one day, one problem, one Blessing, one hope, at a time.. THANK YOU JESUS! To be very honest, it does not seem like it has really been that bad.. Now don't get me wrong, it has been ONLY because of the Grace of God, we made it each step... I was telling Steve, to me the WORST days of our lives are SO FAR behind us, the days we were not serving Jesus. How much worse could things really be. I am being careful, please do not misunderstand me... But I guess what I am trying to say is, when the mountain looks impossible to climb, I can go to THE rock and lean on HIM, knowing"He works everything for my good in HIS timing" Not always easy.. but comforting.
I feel so Blessed to be where we are in our life. I am so thankful for the roof over our heads, food on our table, a nice bed to sleep in, clothes on our backs, shoes on our feet, extended family to love( and I do love each and every one of you, yes you who think I don't. I pray daily for you all) Thankful for this rich heritage we have from both sides of the family to pass down to our girls. So thankful for the good old fashioned way.. IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME! Thankful to serve a God that NEVER changes, He is still on the Throne, Still answering prayers, still leading down that narrow path that leads HOME!
My heart is full.... it is so easy to think about things, problems, the past, or the worst of something or someone.. my hearts cry, my desire, is to be MORE like Jesus, to look at things, and people in light of eternity. Boy it really changes my view and thinking when The Holy Spirit helps me to do that... I think how different would our churches, families, relationships be if we could get a good and TRUE dose of what a Spirit filled life is.. How easy would it be to forgive someone if you thought you were taking your final breaths? Not pointing fingers at anyone.. its at ME... Lord help ME.. I have hurt people just as I have been hurt. It slays me to think of that, and sorry doesn't take scars away no, but the healing balm of Jesus does! I am thankful for that healing in my heart, thankful to look at my past through the blood stains..
Beth Moore said something in one of her Bible Studies "I may not feel joy every moment, but God appropriated it , and I choose it" So today, I CHOOSE though I may not understand or know how , "Love-Joy-Peace-Long suffering-Kindness-Goodness-Faithfulness-Gentleness-Self Control"(Galatians 5:22-23)
And I can choose this because of the promise He made a way for me through HIM to do so "
Philippians 4:5-9
5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
So I guess I am done rambling for now.... Trust each and every one of you has a Blessed Day.. Give Thanks today.. and remember us in prayer if you think of it, we always stand in the need of help from above!

A start!!
Ok so I have not blogged in foooorrrreeeverrrr...... seemed things just came first! So for a first in a long time... Just want to say how thankful I am for this life God has Blessed us with and for being with us each step of the way.. So encouraged to see what God is doing in our lives... at times it hurts, burns, but I know it is for our good HE is burning the junk out and putting in it's place, HIS love, grace, and mercy!! Still a work in progress, still loving Jesus with all my heart, still resolved to stay in the good fight, still being with HIS help the best wife and mother I know how to be... sister, daughter, grand daughter, cousin, niece, and friend.. I am just a big 'ol crack pot full of holes, but that just means more of HIM will come through and less of me! Hope everyone is having a great week!!
and yes, I know how grammatically(sp?) messed up my blogs are... this is my chance to just BE ME!!! after teaching 24/7 it is nice to let ya hair down once in awhile :)
