Praise Reoort

Took DH to the DR yesterday and wanted to share a praise report.
NO MORE VALLEY FEVER!!!!

THANK YOU JESUS!

We are still waiting for an opening with the Pulmologist but this was GREAT news to hear, one more problem healed by our Sweet Jesus.

Getting out was hard on DH but Jesus helped him and we ladies as we waited at the pharmacy for two hours to fill meds.
He is still in pain and swollen from all the trauma from last week, but we can also see each day how Jesus is healing him one thing and step at a time.
He is just trying to rest as much as he can and regain his strength.

Think that's about it for this post.

Our Filtration system

"Finally, brethren,
whatever things are true,
 whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just,
whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue and
if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things"

Prayer Request for Hubby

So here is an update of sorts.... it has been one crazy ride..

Status of Steve's health: Very Poor but holding steady.

He is having many complications here at home and we just had a VERY scary thing happen.
Because of not feeling well myself I was up and in the office working on things,
I look up to Steve standing in the doorway with "That Look"
(you medical professionals should know what I am talking about
if you have any experience in Telemetry)
He was sweating as if a water hose was on a low steady stream,
literally could not wipe the sweat fast enough,
totally soaked his shirt and the chair he was sitting in.
He was white and pasty, bluish/gray and glossed over pupils dilated.
Severe chest pain and dizzy to the point of not being able to walk right
this has been  off and on since this whole thing started getting worse a month ago.

I am watching the clock for when the DR's office will open, and plan to call her to update her
and possibly get him in there today.
Why didn't I call 911?
Because when I checked his STATS they were PERFECTLY normal
(something else that hasn't been consistent through all of this as well)
but for having just experienced what he did
I wasn't going to be surprised if they were all out of whack.
But they were not and we praise God for that.

Of course I did tell him I wanted to take him in, but he would rather ride it out and keep trusting God. And since things have calmed down
(we went to prayer over him right away)
and felt assurance that God was in control and all is well.

However I am keeping a VERY close eye on him!!!!!

He goes to the Pulmonologist tomorrow,
praying we can get some answers and more information to what may be going on with the lungs.
One major concern is to also get an ECHO done to check on that heart valve,
and hope the infection in that is gone.

Steve has had three heart attacks and they were caused by weakened heart muscles due to infection surrounding the heart from the pneumonia that keeps reoccurring  , so we are very familiar with what is going on with that side of things and need to get his cardiologist back on board to check up there.
Ironically it happens to be mine as well.

Neat quick story, when Steve was in ICU in 2001 and we almost lost him, Dr.Tri was his attending Cardiologist during that time. We did not put two and two together until after seeing him again with me(2010) that we were in an office visit and the pieces to the puzzle all came together and it was neat how God had ordained this meeting again.
He is a VERY good DR and knows his stuff!!! of Course Tri is his first name and we are at that level in our relationship due to how often we visit together  =)
We feel like his whole team is our extended family.. lol

Anyway, just wanted to bring this before all you prayer warriors
and update Family and Friends all at the same time instead of trying to text all of this.

It has been a long journey but we have been so BLESSED!!!!

I do not care nor will I listen to any of you that would like to explain it away as being something else, you are not here, you do not know facts, we do... and I KNOW that by the time I grabbed my phone and got Shania out of bed so she could take over with 911 and I was prepared to start working on him (been there before back in 2002 when he went down on me walking down the hallway of our apartment) but God had touched Steve and I got awesome numbers on his STATS.
BP= Perfect, HR= Perfect, O2= Perfect.

PRAISE GOD!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!
Thank you Lord for stepping between my dear hubby and that storm that threatened to come crashing in on us.
We went right back into prayer of thanksgiving and praise to our KING JESUS.
He is so incredibly good to us, and though we may not understand all of this, we are not questioning why. Because we are standing on HIS truth and promises and we are completely surrendered to God no matter what!!!
Casting down ALL vain imaginations and putting them under Gods authority.. (yes I paraphrased)

I refuse any doubters

So this is ONLY for those who can join us with,
NO critical spirits to interfere with our faith.
NO doubters, if you do not believe beyond what you do not know or understand, that is okay, no offense taken just step back and let those who can pray and trust with us step in closer.

We are so very thankful for ALL of you who are standing behind us doing just that.
Praying despite not understanding the gaps in details, or why, ect.
We are so thankful for our families, and our Church family and our friends.
We love each one of ya so much!!!!

We are praying for all of ya as Jesus brings ya to our minds.

Psalm 42:5
"Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him,
For the help of His countenance."

Ephesians 3:20,21
"Now unto Him,
that is able to do exceeding,
abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto Him be glory in the church
by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,
world without end. AMEN."

Been a rough few days. But Gods still good!!!

I have been having some very painful long days and nights, the pain is great, partially paralyzed in my right leg as I write this, the tumor wrapped around my spine feels like a hand squeezing it... makes me feel so sick.
Add to that the Potsi flare up, very painful and heart rate was running around 125.

But thank You Jesus, after hubby and girls prayed over me my heart rate seems to be calming, and I am trusting the rest to do the very same thing..
Enemy of my soul wants me to give up in these moments.. it proves he can not read our thoughts or see our heart because by the grace of GOD.. I WILL NOT give in, I will NOT give up, I will NOT back down.
I am in this thing until I hear my King say
"Welcome in thy good and faithful servant, come, see all that I have prepared for you"

The moments that are rough it feels like fire, on the temporal front it looks dark, no relief in sight, but just when we feel we can not take another moment... Jesus calls out to the storm, He steps between me and the storm and says "Peace be still"

I am so glad to serve a REAL GOD, who knows, cares, loves, and NEVER forsakes.
He is so incredibly good...
Steve was reading a scripture to us the other night that I would like to share with all of you.
It is found over in Proverbs..

Proverbs 5:21

21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,
And He ponders all his paths.

And he also shared this one with me just now, and it was already going through my mind.
 God is so incredible.

Hebrews 4:13-16

13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Y'all know I speak through Music... Here is my song tonight.. well one of them =)

Short Update =)

Thankful for how Jesus has been helping us!!

We know God is in control and has been working things out for our good and we want to continue to walk in His steps.

Many changes are taking place in our home due to Steve's health...
Including his job, so glad Jesus is on our side!!

Don't know how others make it through without The Lord....

Told ya this would be a short update..  God knows about each and every detail.

A few things Jesus did for us during this time...

One night we heard a knock at our back door, we were ALL VERY VERY sick. It was a family from our church with soup and Sprite... What a God send that was.. such a blessing.

Another afternoon our good friends brought over dinner and it was SO delicious and there was enough for a few more meals besides that night. =)

My Mother was amazing through the past few weeks in a special way, she has been our hands and feet and ran the roads doing so many things that were URGENT and could NOT be put off.
She took our laundry home with her several times, and took us to the ER one night,
took us to the DR's and pick up our meds....
And there were many other things she did that she didn't realize at the time it was a direct answer to prayer.
So BLESSED to have an awesome Mother and Grandmother!!

One evening we received a phone call from our Pastor, someone had dropped off something for us while we were gone to the DR. ANOTHER HUGE answer to PRAYER.

And our siblings and their families were such a great support to us, in prayer and just being there for us.... Nothing more important next to Jesus than our families.

Our friends have been amazing, so supportive and encouraging and we knew they were praying.

Most of all we are thankful for the peace that passes all understanding and when we don't see the next step we can still take it in faith knowing Jesus has already been there!!!

Know we are praying for all of you and the trials in your life, together we can make this journey towards heaven by continuing to love one another!!!

Pray y'all have a blessed week.

Answered Prayers!!!!

I know our Savior heard ALL of our prayers!!!
Praise God!!!
Blood clot is GONE!!!!
Blood is now normal!!!!
Ct came back CLEAR FINALLY CLEAR!!!! First clear CT in, a VERY LONG LONG time!!!
He ineeds to rest so complete healing can strengthen him from having it for so long.
Needs to follow up with Pulmonary for sure, still some concerns ..

COPD & valley fever&several other issues but I'm believing AGAINST that and expect Nothing but GOOD reports from that VERY SOON!!!

Also still believing God for the infection in the valve of his heart to be healed!!!

But the double pneumonia and blood clot that was in the right lung is CLEAR tonight!!!
 Praise God for answering prayer!!

Thank you, thank you friends for praying.
From the condition he came to the ER in, and what we will be going home like, is NOTHING but the power of Jesus' healing my dear husbands body!!!

Keep praying friends and family, I KNOW Jesus is going to complete that GOOD work He started in my dear husband!!

Rejoicing over this news, what a wonderful thing to see, all of a sudden DH's stats started leveling out, calming, and then DR came in to share the great news!!
Of course DH is very very tired and needs rest, but to know God had it under control the whole time and to witness it, oh what a wonder my King Jesus is!

DR just came back in and said one of the blood tests was elevated & wants to do an Ultra Sound before going home.
BUT I am believing that's going to come back normal.

And they say he still has bronchitis...

I think this about covers it all and hope it fills enough blanks for everyone to get a bit of a picture to this update =)

Update on Steve

Steve is still about the same, praying the added meds from yesterday's DR appointment will start working as the Lord would will.
It's been amazing to see God working in so many ways, both big and small.
He is getting His glory and that is all we desire!!
Just enough grace for the step we are on.
Will be consulting with a Pulmonologist  in the next few days in regards to Steve's lungs.
Praying the infection in the valve of his heart continues to heal and that the medication to drain the fluid off his heart and lungs will be successful.
Praying this third round of antibiotics will have maximum affect as well as the steroids.
He is taking breathing treatments which is part if his daily life anyway.
Still running fevers but not spiking as high as they should with all the infection, we know that's only because God is working.
Still in pain but there are times The Lord brings relief, So thankful for the peace only Jesus can give!
And knowing our Heavenly Father is in control brings great comfort.
Appreciate all the prayers!!!
As long as he is holding and not getting worse tonight we will stay home, If he worsens in the night or no marked improvement in next 24 hours will need to go back to the ER.
Hoping to get in to the Pulmonary DR because he can do a lot of procedures as out patient, that will be a blessing. Doing everything to avoid being admitted as Steve is not in favor of that option either.

ER visit...

Yes, I took supplies to ER with me. Figured I could multi task.., needed to make Thank You Cards & Birthday Cards.. So behind on our cards. Took the DR chair to use as my table, worked out great and DR was okay to use another one =)

Update this AM on DH

We will be heading to the hospital with Steve soon, praying they can stabilize his lungs and we can get some more answers, and figure out the next step.
He is very weak and very sick, but our hope is in The Lord!!

Pray for wisdom,
 discernment, and strength.
Above all...
 Gods will be done,
and bring glory to His name!!

The scripture I'm leaning on today!!!

"But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy,
because You defend them;
Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
 (Psalms 5:11,12)
