I don't know about you, but it has been some crazy weeks... Months...
Yesterday was a challenging day for sure, I was having some severe issues physically, The Girls had committed to working all day, and Steve had a Dentist appointment to get what we thought would be clean up from the tooth he pulled here at home, and the one that was also cracked.
Turns out, he needed three done and one was incredibly close to causing some very serious health issues.
They already were but didn't realize the magnitude.
One was from when he had gotten a root canal done from a Glendale dentist that messed up and has been bothersome and very painful over the years.
The infection was so bad this Dentist had to scrape his jaw bone,the infection had gone through the tooth, gums, and straight to the bone..
My poor hubby =(
Let me back up a minuet and tell how we found this Dentist.
On Thursday night a flyer came in the mail, well no, was more like a postcard.
Anyway, we had a good time laughing about a water mark right on one of the dentists teeth.. Said what advertising..lol..
They had a snowbird special and another special for something else.
Obviously we are not snowbirds...
So I throw it to the side and I felt like I shouldn't throw it away..
But wanted to look around for a few more near by that would fit with the VERY small window of time Steve would have to get this done.
When I first called they only had one slot open for an hour before he would have to go to work, that wasn't going to fit..
Wait got ahead of myself..
How I ended up with the dude from the postcard with a green toothy grin...
I googled dentists and scrolled through and clicked on one that sounded familiar and wasn't far from home, when I clicked on the link who's toothy grin showed up?
Yup, you guessed right!
Only no green tooth on the website!!
So I called and that's how that got started..
Okay so,
The gal was so sweet that I was dealing with and she really worked to find a slot before the weekend.
In the meantime we decided well, we can't take the one first offered because of time constraints.
So Steve was going to talk to his boss about coming in a bit late if needed yesterday and call me back so I could call the Dentist back.
But before he had a chance to do that , the office called with a 7:30 appointment.. Perfect we will take it!!!
I had been up all night in severe pain and that threw things out of whack for a bit.
I was stressing because the Girls needed to leave soon & of course I didn't want Steve to drive himself home in that condition...
So as things got worse for me, I called my Mother and asked if she could come help take care of me while Steve dropped the Girls off & went on to the Dentist
( because at this point it was looking like the ER was in my immediate future)
So they left, Kaity was here and taking very good care of me, and my Mom got here.
Lots of prayer and The Lord gave me a definite touch, meanwhile Steve is texting me telling me the horrors of horrors that was being scraped off his jaw bone!
Now........
The God Moment.....
(He was already giving us all His moments of Mercy & Grace)
This Dentist was so concerned for my dear hubby and the condition he was in, he took almost $300 off the bill plus....
They gave us that $100 advertisement from the postcard we had just received THE NIGHT BEFORE, we wouldn't of even known about it!!!
So that brought the total savings up to $400!!
The critical tooth? He did it for FREE!!
Is that God or what?
That's our KING JESUS!!!
And he wrote up a plan to fix the rest of Babe's dentist needs&is giving a HUGE discount for that!!
Oh how do I praise God enough for His Mercy?!!
I couldn't begin to....
He is so incredibly good to us!!!
Steve rested for a few hours and went in to work.
There is no other explanation PERIOD, how he has managed to work through double pneumonia , TWICE within two months of each episode, a broken Radius on his Right arm, right below the elbow, and all this dental pain,
on human strength.
No sir...
Only because of Gods incredible Power and His never ending Mercy & Grace!
Thank You Jesus for helping us yesterday, today, and forever, we can depend on!!
Here's a new day Lord, we're kneeling before you, humbly asking and thanking You for Your Mercies that You promised are new EVERY morning!!!!
So very thankful for my dear Mother, she helped by running Kaity to fill Steve's meds, pick up things he could eat, and helped Kaity clean up the house after I was finally able to go to sleep.
Praying for my dear Husband as he goes into work today, has tomorrow off, and right back on Monday to start a new schedule.
God promised He would take care of His own, but didn't promise it would always feel good.
The best part of it,
He is working it ALL out for our good!!

Not because of what He does for us... No... But for Who He is!
