What a DAY, what a MOMENT!!

This has been a pretty rough week...
Monday night spent hours waiting to be seen in the ER
( DR sent me in) and that scene is for an entire different post!!

I had a great Nurse and DR for which I am thankful!
We had been talking about personal things on and off over the hours and it was finally time for me to GO HOME!!
We were talking about how crazy this world has gotten... ect.. Something he said triggered me to share how God has been taking care of us through this journey of life, not just with this heart issue, but through many other trials.
I said something to the effect of I couldn't wait to go to Heaven, what a wonderful day that was going to be.
He got real serious and proceeded to share how he had lost his dad 17 years ago, we shared we lost Steve's dad in 2009.
He said his dad had an extra surprise waiting in Heaven when he got there...
I said yes meeting Jesus first and all the loved ones..
And how I was sure Daddy was surprised to meet nine of his grand-babies from his youngest sons family!!!
He turned away and was choking back a few tears and proceeded to share how he had encouraged and helped his girlfriend to get an abortion when he was only thirteen years old.
We didn't say a word..
He continued on to share that memory and finished with he was sure the baby was in Heaven.
We said oh for sure..
The Lord prompted me to say that God was a forgiving God and a God of second chances..
yes it was wrong, but I was sure God would like to talk it over with him.
He surprisingly responded well to that and we were on our way.

We never know why God allows things, but one thing I am sure of. He wants to use us and His word says " to be ready to give an answer of the hope that is within us"

On the way out towards the car the triage nurse that had been kinda rude when I first came in, met us at the door and stopped us before we left trying to give more ideas on where to go for help to solve this problem with the elctrophysiology thing going on.
I reminded him from what I had first told him earlier that night...
God was in control, I am not panicked, I have a great earthly DR, but an even GREATER PHYSICIAN on my case.. GOD!!
He just smiled and wished us well..
He had been sitting at the computer looking through my patient history while I was in the back being treated..
It had stuck in his mind for some reason
( there shouldn't of been any room in his mind to remember me, from how busy it was)

That may be small to you.. but to me that is a GOD moment..

Anyway, wanted to share that portion of our Monday evening along with this song that has been in my heart since I heard it last week!

What the enemy meant for evil, God turns toward good!! I'm so sorry you had to go to the ER, but what a testimony of just how God will use His people right where they are!! Praise God for the opportunity to witness and praise God that you came home ok. We just continue to pray for a completely healed heart for you!!
God Bless,
Karen
